Job Summary
Egypro is seeking a Telecom Installation Operations Engineer who will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of telecom equipment installations and upgrades at customer sites. This role ensures installations meet technical specifications, adhere to project timelines, and comply with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of telecom equipment installation (BBU, RRU, DCDU, MW, DC/AC Power).
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure site readiness, execution, QC, and PAT.
- Monitor the daily progress and submit progress reports, KPIs, and escalation plans when needed.
- Conduct and supervise site surveys and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure all works comply with international quality, EHS standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct technical reviews, approvals, and validations with client PM teams.
- Plan and manage pilot sites and supervise field implementation.
- Manage and control subcontractor POs, cost tracking, and support finance with project cash flow updates.
- Coordinate EHS certification, ISDP system registrations, and client team validations.
- Attend client meetings and provide clear communication on progress, risks, and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of telecom field experience
- Proven experience with RAN equipment: BBU, RRU, DCDU, MW, and power systems.
- Direct experience managing swap and modernization projects.
- Solid background in managing large subcontractor teams (10+ teams) across regions.
- Good understanding of QC & PAT process, EHS requirements, and ISDP system validation.
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Good reporting, planning, and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Ability to travel frequently across sites and work under pressure.
